Crocus Large Flowering Vanguard 7-8
Crocus Vanguard is a small plant that blooms in early spring. The flower is delicate and elegant, but absolutely unpretentious. It can be grown both in open ground and in pots. Crocus will decorate a balcony, veranda, terrace or gazebo in the yard. A flower with a height of 15 cm looks unusual in landscape design. Its buds are as if upside down: they are narrowed at the bottom, greatly expanded at the top. Petals are drop-shaped, smooth, shiny.
Appearance and aroma
Crocus Vanguard is an enigma. Buds up to 5 cm high are perfectly white. But as soon as the tightly closed petals open, the flower becomes lilac. The tenderness of the color is supported by a subtle aroma. Crocus blooms for up to two weeks. In a cut, light lilac flowers stand for a long time without losing their aroma. The green leaves are thin, elongated, pierced with a white stripe in the center.
