With over 1000 varieties of Japanese Maples existing including hybrids, the iconic Japanese maple tree is among the most versatile trees for use in the landscape. Heights vary from dwarf shrubs to small shade trees 20 to 25 feet tall.
Some of the Green Acers that we have available are:
Acer - Palmatum Going Green
This is a great plant for creating year-round interest. The handsomely lobed foliage emerges a soft lime green before turning fresh green for summer. In autumn the leaves then turn vibrant shades of orange and red before they are shed. After the last leaf has fallen, the silhouette of the bright green bare stems really stands out - particularly if it is placed in front of a contrasting backdrop. It's a great choice for smaller gardens or large patio pots.
Acer - Palmatum Dissectum
'Dissectum' is a low-growing, mound-forming shrub to around 2m tall and 2.5m wide. Its deeply-cut leaves emerge green in the spring before turning shades of yellow, orange and red in the autumn. Purplish-red spring flowers are followed in autumn by bright red winged fruits
The Pavilion carries many varieties of Green Acers to suit your project, if you would like to speak to someone from our Specimen Plants team, simply request a consultation and we will contact you to discuss how we can help.
